Magma X800 is a powerful and cost-efficient controller for Active Magnetic Bearing systems. It supports AMB systems ranging from 150 kW to 3 MW with rotational speeds from a few rpm to over 100,000 rpm. Compact and versatile, the X800 controller is ideal for various machinery including turbo blowers, compressors, expanders, flywheels and high-speed motors across a wide range of industrial applications.

Advanced multichannel AMB control

Built for demanding production environments requiring reliable AMB performance, the Magma X800 controller features 5-axis differential position control, 12 power output channels and seamless OPC UA / Modbus integration with industrial automation systems.

Condition monitoring capability

Magma X800 continuously processes position-sensor inputs at 10,000 Hz and adjusts currents in 12 channels in real time. With the connectivity option enabled, the online condition monitoring platform provides direct access to dynamics, forces and control behavior inside the machine. A digital twin keeps the control model aligned as the machine ages, enabling predictive maintenance without additional sensors.
