The nineteenth international symposium, ISMB19, will take place at Biwako Hotel in Otsu in Japan from August 19th to 22st, 2025. The 19th ISMB aims to promote scientific and technological exchange and to enhance the understanding and dissemination of magnetic bearing technology worldwide. The ISMB is the major meeting for academic and industrial researchers from all over the world.

SpinDrive will present our study on Control of Hubless Flywheel System together with Teraloop, a Finnish company specialized in energy storage solutions at the 19th International Symposium on Magnetic Bearings. The paper describes specific challenges of the hubless rotor behavior and its control. It addresses the approach to control synthesis of radial AMB for a hubless flywheel system and presents the theoretical and experimental results.
Meanwhile, SpinDrive will also present the Magma X800 AMB controller together with our customer reference videos at a booth.
