Manufacturing Engineer
We are looking for a team member – a SpinDriver – who will be responsible for the winding and insulation internal practical development and supplier manufacturing support of electromechanical components including coils and cables. You will need to work collaboratively with other members of the team, including electrical and mechanical engineers as well as supply chain team.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on winding skills, understand the insulation systems, and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Your main tasks will be
- Collaborating with the team to understand requirements and constraints
- Perform development and precision winding of coils and cables according to technical specifications
- Support development and optimization of winding and insulation methods, including tooling concepts
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product designs and manufacturability
- Work with suppliers to support manufacturing processes and ensure quality standards
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain documentation and follow production and safety procedures
Skills required for this role include:
- Experience in coil winding from electric motors, transformers, or similar electromechanical work
- Strong manual skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
- Understanding of insulation materials and techniques is a plus
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to improve processes
- Team player with good communication skills
- Good English skills
Job location
R&D facilities in Lappeenranta/Finland.
You’ll report to the company Lead Mechanical Engineer.
